Sounds of Blackness release new single, Royalty

Known by many for being the powerful group of singers on the hit song, "Change is Coming" , from their 94 album, "Africa to America: The Journey of the Drum", the Grammy award winning ensemble, Sounds of Blackness, performs music from several genres of music including gospel, R&B, soul, and jazz. Several became hits on the Billboard R&B chart and Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the 1990s.

With their last studio release, "The Sounds of Blackness" in 2011, the group is back and with their new single, Royalty, that will touch the hearts of many with their new single, Royalty. The message is inspiring all to acknowledge who we are within and that is Royalty. The single has a mixture of not only singing but a taste of hip hop, as well with lyrics:

"So hold your head up high,

keep reaching for the sky,

No matter what know that you can take it

No doubt about it youre gonna make it

You're Royalty"
