Today the jury has reached a decision in the case of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev for the bombing that took place, in 2013, in Boston Massachussettes. Although, Tsarnaev did not act alone, he is the last survivor, as his brother, Tamerlan, According to the federal indictment, during the shootout, was captured, but died partly as a result of his brother driving over him.
I am not at all surprised of the death sentence. CNN Reports that the court room was silenced while reading the verdicts of Death. We would think that many people would have been yelling, jumping up & down once the verdict was released, but there was a twist of silence. The youngest victoms parents, Bill & Denise Richards were reportedly against the death penalty Young Tsarnaev.
He is still awaiting his formal sentencing from the Judge and no court date has been set yet.
