Rapper, Turk Files Motion against Cash Money and puts Financial Fate in Judge's hands
Well, things are not looking up for Cash Money. Now, Ex Cash Money Rapper, Turk, has also filed suit against the Cash Money Empire and he names Baby as the guy behind the reasons why he has not gotten paid. When interviewing and speaking out publicly about the decision to file suit, Turk discusses being hurt by the situation, but nothing is "personal", he just want what is his. Baby, being one of the guys that many of the young guys looked up to, Turk, was one that signed a deal using all in-house attorneys & management to guide his career. Unfortunately, now, he looks back and feels that they were not looking out for him as an artist, but the company's wealth, was the main interest.
Turk, sat down with the Breakfast Club and he talked about different situations where he seen that Baby, may not be on his side, but the final straw was when his father passed and no one looked out for him. There is apparently, different situations that is going on within Cash Money, we here all of the time about artists later not being happy about the contracts that they sign, but, hopefully, lessons learned, and the same mistakes won't be made. Back in April, Turk had hope about finding a resolution in his case against Cash Money, but we see that recently a Motion of Default was filed due to no response received from the Cash Money Camp.
The Turk Website posts a link that gives hope for the suit. In the post, it reads:
"A Louisiana judge has now approved Turk's default motion in court, and the judge will now decide how much money the label must pay Turk in the case."
