So I am not sure if you missed the Critics Choice Awards, but I must say, all of the actors made every person in media feel appreciated for ONCE! And Michael Strahan, did he best to keep the crowd laughing. As you can tell, busting out on stage, "BARELY" naked. LOL. But he is in shape though! I guess he was a underwear model & host. LOL.
But, Usually & Understandably, entertainers do not like to be filmed outside of business. However, as many have come to accept, those pictures that are taken when you werent expecting it, those bloggers who wrote about you and did not get all "the facts" straight in your opinion or those like TNG, whose main goal is to bring "Awareness" for those that are seeking a positive movement or just down right juicy "tea". At any rate, all actors & actresses showed major gratitude for the media as every unit works together with one mission in mind.... Entertainment...
Now moving on to the juice, let's go ahead and get it out of the way. We saw Jennifer Lawrence, Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, amongst many others were in the audience. Now if I didn't know any better, I would say those two are besties. I really love how Oprah gives back to everyone. Those that she knows and those that she has never met before. A true inspiration for me. But that is an entirely different blog. So, Back to the Awards , so Tyler was sharp, presenting the award for best actor in a comedy to Michael Keaton, who started his acceptance speech off with, "Im sorry, I was unable to be here tonight"......

LOL. Of course, gave the audience a laugh, talking to the critics about his scene talking horribly about the media, "I had nothing to do with that scene". We hear ya Michael! We hear ya.
Jessica Chastain looked stunning in her white dress as she accepted her award for Critics Choice MVP. Her look gave me absolute life! Very beautiful, sleek & elegant. Jessica graciously thanked her team for their assistance in the production of all of her many movies and wait for it.....

The best part was when she said, "Today is Dr. King's birthday and we should begin to fight for gay rights". Well, ummmm... Ok. Ok. I understand you wanted to connect the two, respect Dr. King & throw out gay rights. However, those are two separate fights honey. But, what she meant was from the heart, so "I get it" and I will leave that just right there. Wait, just one more thing... Next time, just go with, "Fight for what you believe". In any case, Jessica looked stunning.
Now Kevin Costner, he touched my heart while accepting his Lifetime Achievement Award. Throughout his speech, whenever he spoke of his family, children especially, and the moments he had to be away from them while he worked on the films, his eyes would glaze. It almost sounded to me as though he was saying, "Guys, I am getting ready to retire". Now Kevin knows we all will HATE that. But at the same time, Kevin has been in the industry years now, with many accomplishments, so if he was to retire in order to spend time with his family, I am sure we would all understand. After all, no one ever TRULY stays away from something that they love. Just take a LONG break with a peak in here in there. Im not mad at ya Kevin!
Every one was super awesome, The FINAL TNG RECAP for the night, We all know that our guy, Common was in the building! Selma received an award for "best original song" and spoke from the heart when giving his acceptance speech. He spoke of his dad's last words to him, "Freedom of all spirit" which are words that Common lives by. His wish for all, "Find a story we believe in, and let's make it". Well KEEP MAKING THOSE STORIES COMMON. Catch his Red Carpet moments in the video below.
