Gospel Artist, Shawn Mclemore, Passes

The Gospel Industry has lost an earth's angel and powelful voices. Rhonda Mclemore, the wife of national recording artist, announced his passing through social media.

“It is with deep and great sorrow The McLemore Family announces the transition of Shawn McLemore. Official details to follow.”

Mclemore, was an American gospel musician and leader of New Image. He started his music career in 1997 with the release of Wait on Him by Verity Records, and this placed on the Billboard magazineGospel Albums chart. He went on to sing other gospel hits and teamed up with Gospel Artist, James Fortune, in the hit single, I Believe, that sent waves through the gospel industry and healed many hearts of music lovers.

Fans are saddened deeply and have already began expressing their condolences to the Mclemore family. TNG also sends our deepest condolences to the family.
