Irv Gotti relaunches Murder Inc and builds new brand with new Artists
Hi Top Notchers! It is going down in the land of hip hop. CEO, Irv Gotti is coming back with full force, relaunching Murder Inc. Am I the only one that yelled out, "Murrderrrr" when you heard the news? LOL. The entire gang was lit back in the early 2000's. Irv produced artists like, Ashanti, Ja Rule, Big Pun and Lloyd to name a few. But since his court issues back in 2005, when he was on trial and found Not Guilty of money laundering, Irv has kind of went to the background. Maybe needed time to regroup from the craziness that he experienced.
The Feds were attempting to say that Irv & his brother Chris Gotti was accepting money and being funded by Supreme, one of NY's TOP drug dealers. Although Irv is making a come back, his brother Chris often speaks of being offended by the charges saying that it was more than Murder Inc who paid Supreme for his services and the feds took 4 years of his life for nothing.
Very understandable. We wish the Gotti brothers much success on their future and i am ready to here the new sound that they are bringing to hip hop!
